Chelsea to wrap up first summer signing

Chelsea to wrap up first summer signing...

schurrle.jpgIt's expected to be a very busy summer in the Football Transfer Tavern for Chelsea after the expected arrival of Jose Mourinho and one man who also looks set to join the club in the next few weeks is Bayer Leverkusen forward André Schürrle.
The Guardian suggests that a move has taken a step forward after the Bundesliga club's general manager admitted a fee has been agreed between the two sides.
Schürrle has already agreed personal terms with the Stamford Bridge outfit and once returning from international duty with Germany in the United States will head to London to complete the deal.
The 22-year-old is now set to join the Blues in a deal worth £20 million that is likely to see Belgium international Kevin de Bruyne sign for the German club on a season-long loan.
"We have reached an agreement with Chelsea," Wolfgang Holzhäuser told the Rheinische Post newspaper.
"They are going to buy André Schürrle for a specific fee and, in return, they will loan De Bruyne to us for a year for free.
"I expect Chelsea to stand by what has been agreed."
