THE TOP 10 HIGHEST EARNING ATHLETES



In my previous post I brought you the top 20 paid athletes and promised to post a recent list for the current year, here and now Sports Illustrated just released its list of the highest-earning athletes for the past year 2012 - 2013. 

Floyd Mayweather is No. 1 for the second-straight year.
Here's the top-10 when you combine US and international athletes:

  2. LeBron James — $56.5 million
  3. David Beckham — $48.3 million
  4. Drew Brees — $47.8 million
  5. Kobe Bryant — $46.8 million
  6. Roger Federer — $43.3 million
  7. Fernando Alonso — $42 million
  8. Tiger Woods — $40.8 million
  9. Phil Mickelson — $39.5 million
  10. Cristiano Ronaldo — $35.2 million
The top 10 for just US-based athletes:
